There are two day trips that go to roughly the same place. Each includes lunch, snorkeling (to see the fish and corals) and swimming in the cool, clear water of the “Cueva Saturno” caves. If there is time, we are also entitled to a short tour of the City of Matanzas. There is: Jeep Safari - with "speedboat" ride (not very fast motorboat...) and usually visit to a farm. There is also the Rio Canimar excursion which is done by bus when there is enough demand. A larger boat slowly goes up the Canimar River and drops us off at La Arboleda Park. An enchanting site to rest before taking the bus back to Matanzas.
