Tip for Internet in Cuba with a cell phone for less than $40

For those looking for ways to have internet for the week for less than $35

After hours of research I finally found a company that offers cheap travel internet ( data ) packages, I wanted to be more independent in terms of internet, so not chasing WIFI cards or being dependent on the hotel's WIFI , I found this alternative much less expensive than those who pay $14 per day …so I hope it will be useful for some

Tested and functional during all my trips to Cuba, since I do lives all week thanks to this thing and I consume on average 8 GB in total without depriving myself

Let me explain... Fizz offers subscriptions without a contract so...

1-Purchase of the fizz sim card = $10 (purchase only once)

2-Activation of your sim card with the Basic Package without anything, only to have an active account on FIZZ = **$10 **per month (cancelable at any time)

3-Then when you go on a trip you buy internet blocks at $5 / 1GB You must go to the ADD TRAVEL section You can buy several, so example to buy

6 GB of data 6 x 5$ = 30$ + 7$ basic package + 10$ purchase of the sim card = 49$ for internet in Cuba 6 GB For normal use 2-3 GB is more than enough so total cost = 25 -30$ for 7 days

Calls are not available in Cuba, so you will only be able to use the internet with this method. The goal of this method is to only have internet VIA a cell phone (so Messenger, Skype and other)

Please note that your phone must be unlocked (SIM UNLOCK)

It's free, you just have to call your cell company to have your phone unlocked, phones sold after January 2017 are normally already unlocked,

The best trick put the FIZZ card if it asks you for a code, you have to call your cell company to have it unlocked

For those who would also like to take the test I invite you to use my AMI code which will give you a $50 discount Here is my friend code to use when you subscribe to BSRC2

You must enter this code when you go to activate your cellular plan Otherwise you will not receive the $50 discount
