Camarones al Ajillo (garlic shrimp)

    100g butter
    1 kilogram of peeled shrimp
    12 cloves of crushed garlic
    100 ml lemon juice
    200 ml of white wine
    1 pinch of salt
    1 pinch of pepper
1 teaspoon chopped parsley and/or coriander

This oh-so-simple recipe combines shrimp with parsley and garlic to produce a unique flavor.

In a pan, melt the butter and brown the minced or crushed garlic with the shrimp over medium heat.
Then add the lemon juice and white wine to reduce and marinate the shrimp.
Let them soak up the liquid well and add the parsley and/or coriander to taste, salt and pepper, and simmer for another 5 to 10 minutes. During this time, it is important to keep an eye on the shrimp and turn them occasionally to prevent them from burning on one side.
Remove them from the pan and serve them immediately. You can accompany your garlic shrimp recipe with a vegetable salad, white rice or tostones, and serve with a good glass of white wine.
I would like to recommend that you also accompany it with toasted bread garnished with a touch of mustard, ideal for a light dinner, or easy-to-prepare tapas.
